We delivered a workshop for the charity Macs. It was a weekend event for their “Thrive at Thirty” celebration. MACS supports children and adults who have one of, or sometimes a combination of, three eye conditions: Microphthalmia (small eye), Anophthalmia (no eye) and Coloboma (gap in the structure of the eye). Around 114 children are born with a MACS condition in the UK every year. I set up a circus workshop area and delivered a workshop for all visitors. I particularly enjoyed using our”juggle boards” at this event. Using this prop we made the juggling experience accessible for participants who are partially sighted or blind.
